The Transcend StoreJet Cloud creates a portable cloud-storage system that can be quickly and easily accessed by up to five devices. It combines 32GB or 64GB of flash storage with a Wi-Fi hotspot. You connect it to your Mac via USB and copy files to it directly using Finder. Files are accessed via a free iOS app.

Once your device is connected to the StoreJet Cloud’s wireless LAN, the app connects to the StoreJet Cloud and you can open documents, stream music and video, look at photos and read documents. Unfortunately, when connected to the StoreJet, there’s no way for your iOS device to also connect to the internet.

Macworld Australia’s buying advice.

If you find that your iOS needs more space, then this is definitely worth a look.
