Nocsos Ltd on Thursday announced the release of myDBR, a new enterprise-class Web-based report generation tool. It’s free.

myDBR helps enterprise users generate reports from data stored in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server systems. It supports smartphones including the iPhone, and works with modern Web browsers on Macs and PCs as well.

myDBR uses advanced features in MySQL and MS SQL Server to automate most of the work needed to generate reporting tasks. It can produce tabular reports, charts, and helps to visualise numeric data. It also integrates AT&T’s Graphviz engine, a graph visualisation tool, to create graphs and network diagrams. It supports Google Maps to help creative map “mashups.”

System requirements call for an Apache or IIS-based Web server and PHP 5.1 or later, MySQL 5.0.7 or later or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or later, Safari 2.x or later, and Firefox 2 or later. Additional information on client support can be found online.
