Quarrel Deluxe is a game of words for the iPhone and iPad, mixing the best of Scrabble and Risk. Players battle for control of 12 maps by spelling words and solving anagrams.
You can only use as many letters to spell words as you have units on the chosen territory, making strategy and reinforcements an important element. But vocabulary is the true key to victory, with letter values enabling clever three- or four-letter words to trump longer but more pedestrian efforts.
Bigger the word points, more chance you have of conquering the board.
There is four different game modes to play – Quick Match, Make Match, Domination and the global Daily Challenge – and there are nine computer players for you to challenge, offering a diverse range of difficulty and play styles.
