Xero A Winner at 2012 IxDA Interaction Design Awards

A prestigious international jury selected winners at the Google-sponsored IxDA event held in Dublin. Xero was chosen from over 300 entries from 33 countries.

The awards showcase best in class for global interaction design and included entries from Nike+, Windows Phone 7 and best in show winner, Sifteo.

Xero’s Head of Design, Philip Fierlinger received the award and is pleased with the win.

“It’s awesome to see our team get recognised alongside some of the most innovative designers in the business. You wouldn’t expect to see an accounting system sitting in the company of some of the world’s sexiest, most ground breaking products”, says Philip.

President of IxDA Janna DeVylder congratulates the winners.

“Great interaction design does not suddenly appear; it’s through a considered design process, understanding of behavior, and clear intent that these projects shine. We are thankful to all that submitted in this first year, providing our judges with a difficult task of narrowing projects and selecting the final winners.”
