ProPrompter launches new iPad teleprompter at IBC 2010

Tuesday September 14th, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Bodelin Technologies makers of the award winning ProPrompter HD mobile teleprompters has launched their latest iPad teleprompter – the ProPrompter PP-HDi Pro with Chrosziel compatible 15mm rail mounts. Bodelin launched their original hand held iPad teleprompter, the ProPrompter PP-HDi, at the NAB trade show in April. The first model was perfect for small video cameras however the demand has been strong from customers with mid sized pro and large broadcast cameras. In response Bodelin created the new ProPrompter PP-HDi Pro in design collaboration with its Australian and EU distributors.

The ProPrompter PP-HDi Pro secures the Apple iPad in a specially designed lightweight yet sturdy locking bracket. The new Pro model also has a custom cut 16:9 studio quality beam splitter glass encased in a padded frame that is set in a high impact ABS hood, a camera bar made of aircraft aluminium for small and medium sized cameras, plus an attachable pistol grip with ¼” tripod mount. The PP-HDi Pro package is housed in a military grade Storm case. AC power or external batteries are not required as the iPad has a 10 hour battery.

In January 2009, Bodelin launched the first professional teleprompting App that is universal for iPad, iPhone and the iPod Touch. An App Store Staff Favourite, the App features support for remote control, international language characters, cue point recognition, all CAPS option and smooth scrolling. Since the App launch, ProPrompter has released four free feature updates. The customer supplies their own iPad and purchases the ProPrompter App from the iTunes App Store for USD $9.99.
