Press Release

There was a Lexicon Omega, an Apple iPad and Garage band all sitting at a gig. Garage band turns to the iPad and says, “wouldn’t it be great if we could record this?”

Yes, that’s right you can now use a Lexicon Omega and an iPad to record to Garage band. In a recent press release, Lexicon announced the Omega will now be able to be used in conjunction with your iPad to simultaneously record up to four tracks to the Garage band application from Apple.

The Lexicon Omega streams 24 bit audio at a 44.1KHz sample rate to an iPad over USB, utilising the Apple Camera connection kit to provide high quality audio for recording and playback.

This simple plug and play methodology allows you to quickly and easily be able to connect and record in a matter of moments, whether it be for the stereo output bus at a gig or in a hotel room or on the road whenever a creative flair strikes you.
