Sydney, 2 December 2010: Epson Australia and Nikon Australia have formed an imaging alliance under the banner of “Creative tools for creative minds” to develop and market professional products and services to professional photographers.
“Epson and Nikon are respected and highly regarded brands in professional photography, and we both believe this alliance will add great strength and depth to our relationships with professional photographers,” said Craig Heckenberg, Business Unit Manager for Epson’s Business Solutions Division.
“One of our aims is to ensure that our customers get the combined benefits that two leaders in digital photography and image reproduction can deliver when working as a team,” said Craig Gillespie, Professional Business Marketing Manager for Nikon Australia.
“Our products and services complement each other, we are like minded companies when it comes to superior image quality, and we will now be working together to make it easier for professional and prosumer photographers to fully realise the benefits and superior performance of a Nikon camera – Epson printer combination,” said Craig Gillespie.
Craig Heckenberg said activities under the alliance would include; workflow solutions, educational workshops and seminar programs, and joint marketing and sales promotions.
