Short film Lemonade Stand has been announced as the winner of the Movie Extra Tropfest 2012.
To celebrate the film festival’s 20th birthday anniversary, Melbourne-based director of Lemonade Stand, Althea Jpnes, was awarded first prize for her efforts on Sunday night.
The prize package included a Nikon D800 and lens prize pack valued at $6000.
Tropfest is the largest short film festival in the world and one of Australia’s most prestigious cultural events, drawing crowds of over 150,000 each year.
