Ever wondered what the lovechild of an Apple and Samsung smartphone would look like? Contemplate no more, the team at Techradar have created the hybrid model ‘iSung’ – a mash up consisting of components said to feature in Apple’s soon-to-be-released iPhone 5 and Samsung’s current Galaxy SIII smartphone.

Given the recent patent dispute between Apple and Samsung, the ‘iSung’ offers a lighthearted take on what would result when combining the two designs.

The final product is a handset featuring a brushed aluminum back panel – a persistent rumour said to be featured in the next-generation iPhone – framed by two black ceramic-style panels that can be seen on the Galaxy SIII.

The iSung operating system displayed on its home screen closely resembles Apple’s iOS 5, with added elements of  Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich platform and Samsung technologies, including NFC capabilities and Touchwiz interface.
