Microsoft has announced that the Xbox 360 has sold a million units in Australia. And only four years after it was launched! Well done to all at Microsoft.

To celebrate the milestone, Xbox is running an online charity auction, the ‘Xbox Konsoles for Kids Charity Auction’, which is offering one-of-a-kind consoles to raise money for local charity David Peachey Foundation. The consoles are up for grabs over the next five weeks, and feature celebrities including Russell Crowe and Jennifer Hawkins, and specially designed Halo and ‘Crystal’ (with more than 10,000 semi-precious stones) editions of the Xbox.

Full details can be found on the Xbox site, and all auctions will be run on eBay.
