Imagine a world without a next of ugly cables cluttering up your desk or coffee table. That’s what IKEA has in mind with their new wireless charging range.

The new gear includes the JYSSEN wireless charger that can be installed by anyone who can operate a power drill with a hole-saw. IKEA is also selling the hole-say bit to make life extra easy.

There are also the VARV table and floor lamps. Once the lamp is on, you can simply sit your compatible mobile device on the lamp and it will recharge.

For the bedroom, there’s the NORDLI bedside table with a built-in charging plate and USB port for devices that need to be tethered to a power supply.

The office is covered with the RIGGAD desk-lamp and there’s the NORDMÄRKE charging pad that can sit on any other surface or travel with you. NORDMÄRKE comes in models that support either one or three simultaneously-charging devices.

If you’re stuck with old-fashioned wired charging IKEA also has its KOPPLA range of USB-enabled powerboards and AC adaptors.

You can see the full range of new power accessories by IKEA in a specially produced brochure.
