While talk elsewhere is of downturned economies and job cuts, Apple clearly didn’t get the memo. Preparing for its expected 10 September release of iTunes Radio, the tech company has gone on a hiring spree, bumping up its iAd team with gusto. The streaming radio app has already netted some of the biggest brand names in the world, so Apple will be intent on ensuring it high profile clients are well-served by the new enterprise.
The jobs cover a variety of areas, including design, project managing and engineering.
The tech company is also looking for people with creative experience in the ad executive area to help improve the ads on its ever-growing iAd advertising network.
The head hunter, as it were, on Apple’s safari is Linda Waste, an ex ad industry recruiter, who is currently listed as a senior recruiting manager at Apple.
So, if you think there may be something there for you – and you don’t mind a spot of relocation (oh, and you already have a green card) – perhaps you should waste (sorry) no time in getting your resume to Linda, telling her why you think you deserve a bite of the biggest apple around…
