While two films documenting the life and controversial career of Apple’s former CEO Steve Jobs are in production, an interview – presumed lost – with the late Apple founder has surfaced on iTunes.

According to the US iTunes store the video is “candid, controversial and funny … the original and unedited interview with Steve Jobs, conducted by tech journalist and former Apple Inc. employee Robert X. Cringely, from 1995 when Steve Jobs was still CEO of NeXT Computer and Pixar.”

The 70-minute footage featuring Jobs in a one-on-one interview originally filmed as part of Cringely’s series Triumph of the Nerds but only 10 minutes of the interview was used in the show. Rediscovered and polished by director Paul Sen, the video is available to rent for those with a US iTunes store account for US$3.99.
