Following on from our story earlier this week that a long lost tape recording of Steve Jobs speaking at the International Design Conference in Aspen back in 1983 had been found, it has emerged that at the time a time capsule had been buried containing Steve Jobs’ mouse.

The time capsule was supposed to be buried for either 20 years or until the year 2000.

Jobs contributed the mouse from his Lisa computer.

The problem is that nobody knows where the time capsule is buried. Marcel Brown, who was given the tape recording it appealing for people who attended the conference to let him know where the time capsule might have been buried. You can contact him here.

The iPhone 4S was nominated for inclusion in a time capsule that is being buried in the foundations of the new Design Museum in London.
