As we eagerly anticipate the lead up to Apple’s media event on Wednesday March 2 (Thursday local time), the latest rumour to emerge about the iPad 2 is talk of a white version of the popular tablet device.
Posted in a photo on 9to5Mac via iFixYouri, the image shows a white front bezel (commonly referred to as the ‘digitizer’) of an iPad 2, according to the website.
The photo raises questions about the problems that Apple has had previously, in attempting to release a white iPhone 4.
Apparently the paint used on the white version of a iPhone 4 allowed excessive light to seep into the camera, affecting the internal sensors.
Add this to the likely front facing camera on the iPad 2 and one would have to assume that Apple has solved the issue.
Does this mean we should expect an announcement of a white iPhone 4 at tomorrow’s event?
Do you think a white version of the iPad 2 is likely?
One thing is certain, we don’t have long to wait! Leave your comments below.
