Earlier this year EA acquired PopCap Games, the company behind Plants vs Zombies, Bejeweled, with a total acquisition price of $1.3 billion.

Last week PopCap Games sent an email to its customers advising that it will be merging its product offerings and databases with those of EA as part of the transition.

“Because our friends at EA will be looking after PopCap’s user information, their terms will govern your use of PopCap products, services and the data we have collected and may collect in the future. Your use of PopCap products and services will not otherwise change,” clearly stated in the new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Current PopCap customers are able to request for personal information be deleted and not be accessed by EA by submitting a request.
