Guardian photojournalist Dan Chung has been photographing the London 2012 Olympics using just his iPhone, some useful accessories and the photo-editing app Snapseed.

Chung has captured some impressive photographs using his iPhone 4S, including striking images of the opening ceremony, action shots of gymnasts, swimmers and other athletes in action, as well as excited supporters from across the globe.

To give the iPhone 4S’ 8-megapixel camera an added boost, Chung used the Schneider Lens hardware add-on that allows you to screw lenses onto the smartphone. Chung also lists Canon binoculars as his photography aid when photographing far away subjects.

To edit his photographs, Chung uses iOS app Snapseed.
