When TLA Systems released an updated PCalc iPhone app last month (at a cost of $12.99), the company said an updated version would be released for Mac OS X as well. Now, PCalc 3.3 has officially been released.

Developer James Thomson said he took many of the improvements made for the iPhone app and incorporated them into the Mac version. The updated PCalc, a fully featured scientific calculator, includes an enhanced RPN mode that works more like classic HP calculators, and smarter undo and redo support.

The interface has also changed giving it a more modern look, which was based on the iPhone style. PCalc also includes a Dashboard Widget for integration with the Mac OS X Dashboard.

PCalc 3.3 costs $19 and is available from the company’s Web site.
