Almost overlooked amid all the excitement surrounding the official announcement of Apple’s 10 September media event, the latest preview of the Mavericks OS X was released to Mac developers today.
Following Apple’s by now regular pattern, the latest preview came two weeks to the day after the previous one.
All registered developers can now access the update by heading to the Software Update tool in the Mac App Store.
The operating system is still on track to be released this spring (northern hemisphere fall) and to date is expected to include such features as a new Maps app, improvements to the Safari web browser, full screen dual monitor capabilities and a tabbed Finder.
