Google+ has just undergone an ‘iPad makeover’ with the social networking app now optimised for rhe device and other Android tablets.
Google announced the news at its I/O conference in San Francisco, revealing that the new-version app would feature a redesigned navigation system and support ‘Hangout’ video chats suited for bigger screens.
The design of the Google+ app for iPad can be used in landscape mode. although users will have to wait to get their hands on the app with no official release date confirmed, although Google did say it would be “coming soon”.
Google+ for iPad joins a slew of new products from the company that have been unveiled at the I/O so far, including Android’s latest ‘Jelly Bean’ OS, a streaming device similar to the Apple TV called Nexus Q and a Nexus 7in tablet.
