Apple will open its latest retail store at Westfield Southland, in the Melbourne suburb of Cheltenham, at 10am on Saturday.

Macworld Australia first brought you the news on 5 May, and Apple this morning confirmed the opening date and location of the store – shop 2008-2010.

In its statement Apple said the store “is the best place to learn about all the latest products from Apple”.

“Service is the hallmark of every Apple Store,” it added, “with dedicated space for technical support, personal training and free workshops. Customers can get free support and advice at the Genius Bar® plus amazing Personal Setup for iPad, iPhone, iPod and Mac, so every customer is up and running before they leave the store.”
