Proving not even Hollywood heavyweights are immune to the lure of the iPhone 5, high-profile ‘momager’ Kris Jenner reportedly tried to jump the queue outside an Apple Store in the US in a bid to be the first to nab the new smartphone.

According to a report on Perez Hilton, Jenner – the matriarch of hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians –  tried calling her local Apple Store prior to the launch to request that five units of the iPhone 5 be put on hold for her. When the store employee said no, Jenner angrily demanded to speak to a manager. Allegedly, none of the Apple Store managers agreed to speak with Jenner because “this wasn’t a negotiable issue,” an unnamed source told Radar Online.

But the demands didn’t stop there, as Jenner ordered her assistant to go to the local Apple Store on launch day to pick up her order. The assistant reportedly tried jumping the queue, to which a security guard allegedly said “see that line? Go wait in it and you will be helped.”

We’re not sure if Jenner managed to get five of the new iPhones that day, but in a win for customer equality, it just goes to show that when it comes to Apple Store policy, those first in line are best dressed.
