In memory of Steve Jobs, Macworld Australia will donate five percent of our November sales to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.

Every dollar of every donation the ACRF receives from MacworldAU will go to ground-breaking pancreatic cancer research in Australia.

The ACRF is dedicated to funding world-class research that has the potential to make significant breakthroughs in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Funds received from MacworldAU will directly assist ACRF in providing a $5 million grant to the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney to develop a Comprehensive Cancer Centre together with St Vincent’s Hospital.

Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in men and women in Western societies and over 2000 new cases are diagnosed each year in Australia.

This is our tribute to Steve’s life and legacy and we urge you to join in by picking up a copy of the magazine at your local newsagent or making a donation to the Foundation here.
