A recent update to LogMeIn Ignition has added a boatload of new features to the popular remote access app for the iPad and iPhone, not least the ability to wirelessly transfer photo and video content.

Users can now move, copy and save files from PCs or Macs anywhere, and even add video and image files to their iPhone or iPad library, without having to sync their device.

“iPad and iPhone users can now easily carry their photos and videos with them wherever they go, with the option of connecting to their entire collection, regardless of location,” said , LogMeIn regional director Andy Farquharson. “Whether it’s grabbing photos of the trip to Caribbean that never made it on to Facebook or that home video of the kids’ at the pool this summer, the new update to LogMeIn Ignition means never having to leave a video or photo behind.”

New users can purchase LogMeIn Ignition for $36.99 over the App Store, while existing users get the update for free.
