Jetstar is planning to offer iPads to deliver a range of inflight entertainment to passengers flying within Australia and New Zealand.

Jetstar Group CEO Bruce Buchanan revealed the initiative in an Address to Low Cost Airlines World Asia Pacific Conference 2011 in Singapore last week

“…Inflight, we are looking to shortly introduce Apple iPads; a new era in inflight entertainment that will place our airline at the leading edge through the adoption of new technology.”

The iPads will offer a broad range of entertainment options including movies, eBooks, TV, games and music – “the type of content our customers tell us they want to see and access when they fly with us,” explains Buchanan.
