It seems a foregone conclusion that Apple will introduce a new iPhone model at this week’s WWDC. We’ve seen countless images of the supposed device, but an Australian phone retailer has another story.
This image accompanied an email we received today as a “sneak peek of what’s in store for the new iPhone”. A quick search for “new iPhone” in Google images shows that it’s actually a mock-up of an Apple tablet from over a year ago, but the email does note some apparent ‘confirmed changes’.
It states the new phone will have two cameras, a faster processor, improved battery life, and will be smaller than the 3GS. The retailer is even apparently taking pre-orders for the device.
Maybe Apple has worded up the telcos to expect a new phone, or perhaps the person who sent out the email is just a fan of Mac rumour sites.
