If you haven’t already pre-ordered your iPad for the Australian release, the only way you can now get the device on day one is by lining up at your local Apple Store.

The shipping date on the online Apple Store is now showing 7 June for all iPad models, more than a week later than the initial release date.

Get in quick to order before it slips again, or start planning your trip to an Apple Store to wait in the cold for the 28 May release.

Of course, if you’ve already pre-ordered for delivery, you should still get your iPad by 28 May.

Update: Apple has confirmed that those who had pre-ordered before the change to the shipping date will indeed get their iPads by 28 May.
