According to Apple, units will be available both in Apple Stores and select Apple Authorised resellers at 5pm on Friday, March 25th. Units will go onslale over Apple’s online store at 1am.
Along with availability, pricing has also been announced: in Australia, iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available for a recommended retail price (RRP) of AUD$579 inc GST for the 16GB model, AUD$689 inc GST for the 32GB model, AUD$799 inc GST the 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G will be available for a RRP of AUD$729 inc GST for the 16GB model, AUD$839 inc GST for the 32GB model and AUD$949 inc GST for the 64GB model.
The company also announced that the second-generation tablet will be available in in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and additional countries in April.
