It’s not taken long but Apple has already pushed out an update to iOS9.

iOS 9.0.1 fixes a number of issues identified since (or perhaps before but wouldn’t push the releases schedule back) the release of iOS 9 just a week ago. The update addresses the following issues:

  • an issue where some users could not complete set up assistant after updating
  • an issue where sometimes alarms and timers failed to play
  • an issue is Safari and Photos where pausing a video could cause the paused frame to look distroted
  • an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data

The update is available from Settings | General | Software Update and was 35MB on our iPhone 6.
