The first official photo of Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs has surfaced courtesy of the Sundance Film Festival – where the jOBS biopic will premiere in the Utah festival’s closing-night slot on January 27 next year.
The image shows the Two and a Half Men actor laying across a cubicle desk – with an IBM THINK poster in the background – wearing a shirt and jeans.

The image is reminiscent of the below image of Steve Jobs striking a similar pose.
Directed by Joshua Michael Stern and written by Matt Whiteley, the film is – according to Sundance – “The true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jOBS chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ life. jOBS is a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently.”
The cast of the film includes Dermot Mulroney as Mike Markkula – an early investor and eventual CEO of Apple – and Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak. Giles Matthey (True Blood, The Good Wife) will portray Apple’s Senior Vice President of Design, Sir Jonathan ‘Jony’ Ive.
J.K. Simmons, who appeared in the TV series Law & Order, will play Apple investor Arthur Rock, and Transformers actor Kevin Dunn, will portray the role of former CEO Gil Amelio, who was briefly appointed as Apple’s CEO ahead of Jobs’ return to the company in 1997.
Additional parts include Development Team Member Andy Hertzfeld played by Elden Henson; Lenny Jacobson as Burrell Smith, who designed the motherboard for Apple’s original Macintosh; and Victor Rasuk as Bill Fernandez, Apples first official employee in 1977.
The movie began filming in Los Angeles in May and is one of two upcoming films that explore the life of Apple’s iconic CEO.
