From today until 17 June, if you purchase FileMaker Go for iPhone ($23.99) or FileMaker Go for iPad ($47.99), you qualify to save $300 off the retail price of FileMaker Pro for Mac (normally $499). That’s a considerable bargain (even if you don’t want to use the mobile version).

The process couldn’t be simpler either: purchase and download either FileMaker Go from the App Store, submit your proof of purchase at the FileMaker website, and buy a download version of FileMaker Pro 11 for just $199. (Promotion participants need to purchase and download FileMaker Pro by 23 June, 2o11.)

“Businesses tell us they need solutions that streamline their operations and work the way they do to give them a unique competitive advantage,” said FileMaker’s regional manager of Asia Pacific, Steve McManus. “The fastest way to tackle any mobile productivity task is using FileMaker Go for iPhone or iPad in combination with FileMaker Pro.  With our FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Go promotion, business users can automate virtually any process quickly and easily, and have access to information from anywhere on their iPhone or iPad devices – now at a more affordable price than ever.”
