Australians will have access to a much broader range of iPod, iPhone and Mac accessories after Melbourne-based distributor iWorld today kicked off a major expansion of its reseller network.

iWorld, which distributes products from a range of brands including Speck, iLuv, Dexim, 4Mac, JWin, and NovoThink, has previously only distributed its products to chain retailers.

As of today, however, the company will begin distributing its products – which include iPod and iPhone cases, MacBook hard and soft cases, connection cables, headphones, Webcams, iPod-compatible clock radios, windshield mounts, FM transmitters, and more – to Apple dealers across the country.

That will give customers a much broader range of products to choose from when protecting their Apple gear – and deliver new options such as Speck’s MacBook hard cases, which have proved hard to find in the past.

“This is a very important step forward for iWorld,” said director Chad DeClase. “We want to bring back some real value and expose the full range of our products to the Apple dealer market. Our expanded channel will increase consumer choice and provide increased margins and solid returns for Apple dealers.”
