Pangea Software has released Enigmo 2, a sequel to their best-selling game for the iPhone and ipod touch. It costs $3.99.

Enigmo 2

Enigmo 2, like its predecessor, is a physics-based puzzle game in which you must move water, oil, and more through twisting and turning mazes using only the tools you’re given in each level.

The original Enigmo featured rendered 3D objects, but gameplay was strictly two-dimensional. That changes with Enigmo 2—all puzzles are fully 3D. New gameplay elements include laser beams, “gravetoids,” plasma, teleporters and other objects.

What’s more, Enigmo 2 has been developed to take advantage of the performance improvement available on iPhone 3GS models, with extra effects and a smoother gameplay experience, according to Pangea.

Enigmo 2 runs on an iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.0 or later. Click here to see a video of the new game in action.
