~sedna presenter, a new digital signage platform offered exclusively in Australia by Computers Now, lets any business set up easy and cost-effective digital displays from your Mac.

The ~sedna presenter software is scalable and runs on anything from a Mac mini up to the latest Mac Pros. From schools and waiting rooms to airports and multi-billion dollar retailers, there’s no reason not to implement digital signage in your business. Once a domain of big agencies, ~sedna presenter makes it possible for anyone to put together a professional multimedia display.

The system was shown off at Sydney’s Retail 2010 conference last week, and the scheduling software features a simple iTunes-like interface. Setting up a presentation is a matter of dragging and dropping your media, and adding any other elements you want displayed – including web pages and news tickers.

The system can even display to an iPad with ~sedna presenter Player for iPad installed.
