Apple’s Chatswood Chase store in northern Sydney is being renovated to triple the outlet’s floor space and construct a new delivery access way, according to planning documents.
The new store will encompass two neighbouring stores’ floor space on the ground level, bringing the total area to 75,547.8sqm, while a newly constructed loading dock and elevator will allow for secure delivery and storage of Apple products.
The plans, posted by ifoAppleStore.com, also provide the Apple store with a storage area on the second level, which can be accessed via the loading dock elevator.
The Chatswood store opened in 2008, but has been closed since August. The reopening date has not been announced.
