According to Thai Buddhists, Steve Jobs’ spirit is currently residing in a “mystical glass palace hovering above his old office at Apple’s Cupertino, California headquarters”.

The revelation comes in a Wall Street Journal piece, so it must be true.

According to the article, Apple engineer Tony Tseung contacted the Dhammakaya Buddhist group to ask what had happened to Steve Jobs since his death. The answer came in the form of a television broadcast and an account that the group posted online here.

According to the account, Jobs has been reincarnated and now lives in a “simple and mid-sized celestial castle, which is as tall as a six-story building.” Jobs celestial builders were clearly inspired by the Apple Stores on Earth: the castle is, apparently, built from white silver and crystal. (As seen in the image below).

Artist renderings show Jobs in a younger form, sporting a full head of hair.

Dhammakaya Temple abbot Phra Chaibul Dhammajayo said: “After Steve Jobs passed away, he was reincarnated as a divine being with a special knowledge and appreciation for science and the arts.”

The Jobs we all know wasn’t his first reincarnation. Apparently he lived past lives as a builder, architect, and temple designer.

Jobs may wish to apply for a patent on new technology he appears to be utilising in the heavens: when he wants to listen to a song the music plays without the need for electricity or equipment.

The Wall Street Journal notes that other Buddhist leaders disapprove of Phra Chaibul’s sermons, claiming that they are a pubicity stunt designed to lure more followers.

CultofMac also notes that some people are blaming iPad glitches on Steve Jobs’ hauntings. In one YouTube video, Snakehealer claimed that if he takes a bite out of an apple, and places it on his iPad displaying a picture of Steve Jobs, the picture started pulsating with cosmic energy. CultofMac have some other examples of paranormal activity on iPads and iPhones.
