In Mac gaming news, Feral Interactive has announced it will release Brothers In Arms: Double Time on 16 April.

The game was developed by Gearbox Software, and is being released as part of the Feral Legends series. It comprises the first two games in the Brothers In Arms series: Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood. Based on a true story, the game follows a squad of soldiers from the 101st Airborne division of the US Army through an epic WWII journey. The game tests leadership, judgement and determination and offers engaging action in an authentic setting. Success depends on the player’s ability to effectively command their squad.

Brothers in Arms approaches war games in an innovative way. We have been eager to bring these games to the Mac audience for some time. The focus on realism and their ability to engage your emotions makes them quite special,” said David Stephen, Feral Interactive’s managing director.

The game will retail for US $30 (approximately AU $33 plus shipping) and is available for pre-order from Feral’s online store.

It requires at least a 1.8GHz Intel Mac, 1.5GB RAM, 128MB graphics card, DVD drive, 8GB hard drive space, and Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or later. Newest generation MacBooks and Mac Minis with nVidia 9400M video cards are supported.
