Bose launches new AE2i headphones with inline remote and microphone accessory

Audio technology group, Bose have just announced an inline remote and microphone cable that will feature on their newly released AE2i audio headphones and current model of QuietComfort 15 Accoustic Noise cancelling headphones.

The new inline technology allows users to control select Apple products (from the latest iPod to MacBook Pro models) by accessing voice applications like FaceTime or answering calls on an iPhone.

The AE2 remote and microphone accessory will feature on the new Bose AE2i audio headphones ($249). The technology will also be included as an upgrade to the current model of Quiet Comfort 15 noise cancelling headphones ($499).

The AE2 remote and microphone can be purchased separately ($49.95) for users wanting to upgrade the Bose AE2 model headphones, with a similar option for the existing QC15 model, with an add-on cost of $64.95.
