Australians can now get access to a broad range of BBC content after BBC Worldwide finalised arrangements to make shows such as Torchwood, Doctor Who, Little Britain, Spooks, Ashes To Ashes, and Robin Hood available through the Australian iTunes Store.

The shows are available to purchase for $2.99 each, and can be downloaded from the store for viewing on a Mac, PC, video-enabled iPod, or Apple TV.

“We are reaching out to new viewers, and offering audiences more choice by making our content available to customers on iTunes,” Louisa Bayles, BBC Worldwide Australia’s digital sales manager, said in a statement. “We have some of the best known and most loved TV brands around. Purchasing through iTunes means that fans of Doctor Who and Little Britain can now enjoy them whenever they want.”

Australia joins the US, UK, France, Canada and Germany in offering the BBC content through iTunes.

Access the shows via the BBC’s own link at www.itunes.com/bbc.

If you can’t see it via that link, Spooks is here and Ashes to Ashes here.
