Australia Post has released its Apple Watch app. It provides online shoppers with a way to collect parcels and receive delivery status alerts. Once logged in to an Aus Post account customers can track, schedule or redirect many of their deliveries and receive free notifications when they have something to collect.

Australia Post customers will also be able to use their mobile devices to open parcel lockers by scanning their watch.

The app syncs back to customers’ MyPost accounts, offering convenient and secure parcel collection options including up to 3,500 post offices and over 200 24/7 secure parcel locker locations.

There’s a video preview of the app at www.auspost.com.au/applewatch.
