It includes support for up to two instances of accidental damage, replacing the original AppleCare, which did not include extra accidental damage replacements.

9to5mac reports that Apple has been training its support staff and retail employees over the past week in preparation for selling AppleCare+.

AppleCare+ has been in the US since 2011 and is a welcome addition for Australians. The Apple online store has AppleCare+ listed at $129 for both iPhone and iPad, with a $99 service fee for any device replacements due to accidental damage.
