Apple has sent a shut-down notice to online retailer ipopmybaby, which sells iPhone and iPod-themed baby clothes. The adorable range of clothing has been sold for over six years, and features Apple’s iPod click wheel and the iPhone home screen with baby-themed Apps.

In the Timeline: Life of Steve Jobs story in Macworld Australia’s October 2011 issue we featured an item from the range.

ipopmybaby’s website has posted the note, “Apple has respectfully requested that stop selling iPhone baby outfits.”  The website will shut down on 11 December and is marking its loss to Apple by discounting all the clothes. All styles and sizes are US$12 until supplies run out or until 11 December, whichever comes first.

Apple has made several legal threats against various companies recently, from one retailer selling blocked Galaxy Tabs to the ongoing battle with Samsung, and seems to have won this one.
