Apple wins domain name

Apple has won the “” domain name, following a dispute that concluded with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) ordering the domain to be transferred to Apple.

Domain Name Wire notes that the typo was previously registered to Polish, which directed internet users who missed out that second ‘p’ to a page full of adverts for various Apple competitors.

Earlier this year, Apple also won the domain name, but is the first to be resolved under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) this year.
