Apple has gone live with its Reserve and Pick Up service for Apple Watch.

You can, optionally, reserve an Apple Watch online and pick it up from your local Apple Store. Australia is the first place in the world where customers will be picking up an Apple Watch from an Apple Store in a new custom bag designed specially for Apple Watch.

If you’re in the market for an Apple Watch, you can reserve an Apple Watch to buy in any one of Apple’s 21 Australian retail stores.

The process is simple. Choose an Apple Watch from the Apple Online Store (http://store.apple.com/au/watch) and then click on ‘check reservation availability’. You’ll then prompted to choose a store and make an appointment to collect your Apple Watch.

Once you sign in with your Apple ID, you’ll get a unique registration number via text that confirms the reservation time and store.
