Apple has announced its annual Black Friday sale for this Friday, 26 November.

For those not familiar with Black Friday, it’s the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday, and is traditionally a huge day of sales in the US. While most retailers in Australia prefer the Boxing Day sales, Apple keeps this as the only day of the year that it discounts its products.

Details are scarce, but you can be sure that if you fancy buying a Mac or other Apple tech, you’ll be able to save yourself some cash on Friday. Add that to the recent drops in Australian Mac pricing, and you’re likely to find some pretty good deals. And if you don’t know which Mac to grab, we’ve put together a buying guide written by fans of each Mac model.

The sale goes all day on Apple’s online store, and from 8am at its retail stores.

If anyone has any info on what to expect, or has picked up a bargain in previous years, let us know in the comments.
