Apple’s recent MacBook update, which boosted the MacBook Pro with Retina display and MacBook Air processors and cut the retail price, included a number of other internal updates to the Retina MacBook Pro according to an Apple repair guide.
The repair sheet, posted by 9to5Mac, details changes to the 15in MacBook Pro with Retina displays SSD, I/O Board, Logic Board and the computer’s bottom case.
Apple announced the price and processor changes last week, lowering the 13in MacBook Air with 256GB of flash storage from $1689 to $1549.
The 13in MacBook Pro with Retina display now starts at $1649 for 128GB of flash storage (down from $1899), and $1849 for a new 2.6 GHz processor and 256GB of flash (down from $2199).
The 15in MacBook Pro with Retina display now features a faster 2.4 GHz quad-core processor, and comes with a new 2.7 GHz quad-core processor and 16GB of memory.
