Early this morning, Apple posted a customer-driven tribute to its late co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs. The new Remembering Steve page at Apple’s website features a stream of testimonials, thoughts, and memories.
Shortly after Jobs’s passing, Apple encouraged customers to share their condolences and remembrances by emailing rememberingsteve@apple.com. Apple now writes:
Over a million people from all over the world have shared their memories, thoughts, and feelings about Steve. One thing they all have in common—from personal friends to colleagues to owners of Apple products—is how they’ve been touched by his passion and creativity. You can view some of these messages below.
