Apple is hosting a one-day shopping event for customers in Australia today, with special promotions on select products through its website and retail stores around the country.

Borrowing from elements of the company’s Black Friday sale in the US, Australia’s One Day Sale kicked off this morning at 2:01am AEDT and will end tomorrow, November 24, at 1:59am AEDT.

Discounted items up for grabs include the fourth-generation iPad with Retina display starting from $498 ($41 discount); iPad 2 starting at $398 ($31 discount); fifth-generation iPod touch from $298 ($31 discount); seventh-generation iPod nano from $158 ($11 discount); and $105 off all MacBook Pro and Air models.

Customers can purchase goods from select Apple retailers, Apple online or via the Apple Store app for iPhone.

2 people were compelled to have their say. We encourage you to do the same..

  1. hmm says:

Not much incentive really, iP5 and iPad mini not even on sale. bit of a fizzer.

  2. samale says:

what a lame excuse for a sale, massive $11 off on ipod.
and 5% off on macbook’s. A real joke by Apple no decent discount to be had…
