Apple is giving its UK customers iOS-themed lapel pins featuring the British flag during the two-week long 2012 London Olympic Summer games that begin tomorrow.

Apple has produced four sets of pins, featuring black and white iPhones and iPads with the Union Jack on the screens, to commemorate the event according to a MacRumors report.

“We have not confirmed the exact details on distribution of the pins, but we’ve heard that select stores will be distributing the pins free of charge while supplies last on select days,” MacRumors said.

Apple offered a similar promotion during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, with an Apple store in Vancouver distributing maple leaf iPod nano pins.
