Following complaints of intermittent flickering screens by users of Adobe Photoshop on the brand new 2013 MacBook Air, Apple has now officially fixed the problem. Macworld Australia reported last week that a beta of OS X 10.08.5 released to developers seemed to address the bug.
But the company has now released an update, with the following statement: “This update is recommended for MacBook Air (mid 2013) models. [It] fixes an issue that in rare instances may cause an intermittent loss in wireless connectivity, an issue with Adobe Photoshop which may cause occasional screen flickering, and an issue which may cause audio volume to fluctuate during video playback.”
The update is available for download now.
